How with the COVID-19 Lockdown Affect Services?
Last Updated 4 years ago

This notice is to inform you about the measures Betts are taking to help control the spread of the covid-19 coronavirus. Our aim is to keep you, our staff and others safe. In addition to the below, please be sure to stay aware of and follow government advice diligently.

  • As Betts are not a designated “key” business and cannot undertake travelling, survey or site management work within the government’s safe distancing and related coronavirus avoidance requirements, we shall not be operating other than for urgent and emergency matters for the period until restrictions are lifted;
  • We will issue updates from time to time as the situation evolves – services will be resumed as soon as the Government constraints permit.
  • Please note, this notice does not affect your service charge, which will still be collected as normal. It is very important that you continue to pay your service charges. This is because there will be a large amount of work to do to bring sites back into order and compliance with the Management Plans and regulations as soon as the crisis is over. Funds must be available for that to be done as quickly and efficiently as possible within ecological best practice; also insurance and other fixed costs continue.
  • Please rest assured that you will not be charged for work that is not done. Site management costs that vary as a result of the COVID-19 crisis will be reflected in your next annual bill. As always, accounts will be sent to you at the end of each charging year, detailing transparently how the money is being or is to be spent, including details of any refunds if that is the case.
In an emergency, please leave a voicemail on 01886 888445 or email nature@bettsestates.com as these are monitored.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Our thoughts and best wishes are with everyone in this time of crisis. Keep safe.
